A California Sesquicentennial Event

5th Annual Flower & Garden Festival

Sat. June 10 & Sun. June11 2000, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

A Blossoming Show!

Alana has secured 70 exhibitors for our fifth annual event!

The living history folks will be set up in one special area to better present them, and again, thanks to Alana. Wells Fargo is bringing their stagecoach for the event.

Linda will be writing newspaper articles to give the show an exciting slant. She has arranged for two magazines to cover our show this year.

Marianne and Georgianna are collecting raffle prizes. Please contact them with any ideas, goodies and contributions.

Our help is vital in assisting with the smooth running of this event. What we do this year will set the tone to help us become an outstanding garden event in Southern California. We want our vendors to be very successful. Next year we want to refine the focus on the gardener event more! Ideas?

Children's Garden

Evelyn has created plant markers to identify the plants by their common and Latin names. An Eagle Scout is building willow gates for the entrance and exit. Diana has recruited an artist friend to assist her in the layout of the printed material for the children. Dahlias wake up!
