Mission Summer Programs
Beginning June, 2006 Mission San Juan Capistrano will feature nine summer camps for children; Beginning & Intermediate Clay Summer Camps, Mission Matters Camp, Camp Discovery, Science on a Mission Camp, Science Sleuths at the Mission, Summer Smiles at the Mission, Indian Summer Camp & Gold Rush Camp.

Mission Summer Programs
All-day summer camps starting with early morning drop off at 8:30 am with breakfast. Then the fun begins! Two camps include: OC Idol Camp - designed to teach the joy of performing through music and movement for both boys and girls. No experience is necessary - just a love for song and a desire to ham it up! Staff consists of musical theatre professionals, voice coaches and hip choreographers. Musical Theatre Summer Camp - consists of casting and blocking a musical all in one week! Children will breakdown a musical and perform it for family and friends at the week's end.

Living History Day, (also known as 'Second Saturdays') is held on the second Saturday of each month, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Zoomars Petting Zoo & Bird Park
ZOOMARS is home to hundreds of friendly animals to feed, pet, love and learn from. There are goats, emus, llamas, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, geese, ducks, guinea pigs and a bunny patch. After petting the animals, youngsters can saddle up for a pony ride or hop aboard the miniature train. At the front of the property is the century-old Olivares House, listed on the National Registry. Behind it sits an 1890’s bathhouse and picnic area available for birthday parties or family gatherings.
