A
Children's Paradise
A
trip to San Juan Capistrano would not
be complete without a visit to Zoomars,
where children enjoy pony rides, train
rides and animal petting.
Also
for the children, this year the Camino
Real Playhouse is performing "A Christmas
Carol". This version is a treat for the
whole family to see. It takes place on
Christmas Eve in 1843 as friends and family
gather at the Dickens home and insist
that he tell them a story. The story unfolds
with a small cast playing over 40 parts.
Camino Real Playhouse invites you and
all of your family to a unique presentation
of this classic story..
The
opportunity to create family traditions,
the glowing colors of the season, green
rolling hills, wine tasting, a downtown
rich in history and small town charm and
filled with eclectic artistic boutiques
and Orange County's finest restaurants,
makes San Juan Capistrano our Holiday
Destination.

Zoomars
Petting Zoo & Bird Park
ZOOMARS is home to hundreds of friendly
animals to feed, pet, love and learn from.
There are goats, emus, llamas, donkeys,
alpacas, sheep, geese, ducks, guinea pigs
and a bunny patch. After petting the animals,
youngsters can saddle up for a pony ride
or hop aboard the miniature train. At
the front of the property is the century-old
Olivares House, listed on the National
Registry. Behind it sits an 1890’s bathhouse
and picnic area available for birthday
parties or family gatherings.

Mission
San Juan Capistrano
Mission San Juan Capistrano, the Birthplace
of Orange County, was founded more than
two hundred years ago. Today it is a monument
to California' multi-cultural history,
embracing its Native American, Spanish,
Mexican and European heritage.
Visitors
will discover many areas of interest within
the Mission walls. You can hear the tolling
of century old bells and walk down its
time worn paths. The serenity and peace
amid the 10 acres of lush gardens and
cool fountains, cloistered by old adobe
walls, offers visitors seclusion from
the sights and sounds of a busy world.
Visit the Serra Chapel, Padres Quarters,
Industrial Area, Soldiers Barracks, Cemetery
and The Great Stone Church.
