Her prowess in the arts emerged early and was nurtured through fine arts studies at The University of Colored, The Art School and The Otis-Parsons Art Institute in Los Angeles. Her obvious talents were recognized while she was still a student and in no time her works were being exhibited nationally internationally. A prolific artist, Connie King works daily in her Irvine studio, inspired by the variety and vitality of the Southern California scene.
